SMS Terms
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms cover the text messages (SMS) that InvitedInApp, operated by INVITEDIN LLC, sends to your mobile phone. They’re part of our Terms of Service.
The program
InvitedInApp sign-in codes. When you ask for one, we text you a one-time passcode so you can confirm your phone number, create your account or sign in to the InvitedInApp iPhone app. Each message contains only the code, for example: “Your InvitedInApp code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out.” We never send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
How you opt in
On the phone number screen in the app, you type your own mobile number and tick the separate box “Text me one-time use sign-in codes”. That box is never ticked for you. You don’t have to agree to texts to use InvitedInApp: if you leave the box unticked, we send your codes by email instead.
How often
Message frequency varies. You get one message each time you ask for a code, and none otherwise.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. InvitedInApp doesn’t charge for these messages.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. We’ll confirm with one last message and send no more. After that, you can still sign in with a code sent to your email. To get texts again, tick the box in the app again, or reply START.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, or email support@invitedin.app.
Carriers
Mobile carriers aren’t responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
We use your phone number only to send the codes you ask for and to secure your account. We never sell it, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive texts is never shared with any third party. Read our Privacy Policy for more.
