Terms of Service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and INVITEDIN LLC (“we”, “us”), which operates InvitedInApp. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our SMS Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use InvitedInApp.
1. Who can join
- You must be 18 or older.
- InvitedInApp is invitation only: you join through an invite from a member, or because we added you.
- One account per person. The information you give us must be true and your own.
- You can’t join if we’ve removed you before, or if the law doesn’t allow you to use the app.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. Keep your phone and email secure, and tell us at support@invitedin.app if you think someone else got into your account. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
3. Verification
New members start as Not Verified. To become Verified, you confirm your phone number, add your first and last name and a photo of your face, and pass a short selfie check. If the selfie check doesn’t work for you, email support. Some features, such as inviting people, creating groups and events, and RSVPing, are only for Verified members. We may ask you to verify again, and we may take Verified away if your details turn out to be wrong.
4. Invites
Verified members can invite people. You’re responsible for who you invite: invite only real people you know, who are 18 or older. If people you invite break these terms, we may limit or remove your ability to invite.
5. Rules
You must not:
- Share anything involving a minor in a sexual way. We remove it, close the account and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). There are no exceptions.
- Share intimate images of anyone without their consent, or threaten to.
- Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, extort or blackmail anyone, or encourage violence or self-harm.
- Pretend to be someone else, or make fake or duplicate accounts.
- Share anything illegal, or anything you don’t have the right to share.
- Send spam or scams, or sell things without our permission.
- Take screenshots or recordings of other members’ content, or share it outside InvitedInApp, without their permission.
- Try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, scrape the app, or interfere with how it works.
6. Your content
You own what you share. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and show it to the people you share it with, only so we can run InvitedInApp. That license ends when the content is deleted, except where we must keep it for safety or by law.
Sensitive content. Adult content is allowed only where these rules allow it. We check photos and videos automatically and hide sensitive ones behind a cover. Members see them only if they turn on “Show sensitive content”, which is done on our website, not in the iPhone app.
7. Disappearing photos and videos, and screenshots
You can send a photo or video that disappears after one or two short views. We delete it from our servers afterwards, but we can’t stop someone from photographing their screen with another device, so share only what you’re comfortable sharing. The app detects most screenshots and screen recordings and tells the person whose content was captured. Repeatedly capturing other members’ content can get your account paused or removed.
8. Safety, blocks and reports
You can block or report any member, message, group or event. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, pause or remove accounts, and contact the authorities, at our discretion and without notice where that’s needed to keep people safe.
9. Groups and events
Groups and events are run by the members who create them. Meeting people in person carries real risk: meet in public places, tell a friend where you’re going, and trust your judgment. We don’t check events or the people at them, and we aren’t responsible for what happens there.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app, or by emailing support. We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, if we must by law, or to protect members or InvitedInApp.
11. The app is provided as is
InvitedInApp is new and changing. We provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available, free of errors or secure, or that any member is who they say they are.
12. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, INVITEDIN LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for anything members do. Our total liability for any claim about InvitedInApp is no more than the greater of $100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in New York County, New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may change these terms. We’ll update the date above and, before a significant change applies to you, tell you in the app. If you keep using InvitedInApp after that, you accept the new terms.
